About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Ipswich. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in managing a wide range of clients, providing advisory services, and working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients, providing advisory services and working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, corporates, and trusts, to provide technical tax advisory work.
  • Prepare reports for internal teams, non-tax stakeholders, and direct to client notes, ensuring high-quality work and attention to detail.
  • Manage complex HMRC enquiries and disclosures, demonstrating a strong understanding of various UK tax issues.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying knowledge gaps to support their development.
  • Work closely across departments to provide guidance on tax matters, championing professional development and driving service excellence.
  • Monitor changes to tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, providing updates and proactively handling queries to deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements
  • ATT or CTA qualified or qualified by extensive experience.
  • Impressive experience within UK practice, with a strong understanding of tax regulations and advisory services.
  • Highly personable and an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage own workload autonomously and work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
