Job Description

Job Title: Relief Catering Assistant

Job Type: Part-time, Term Time Only

Hours: 20 hours per week

Rate: £13.00 per hour plus mileage/expenses paid

About the Role:

We are seeking friendly, hard-working, and approachable team members to support our existing teams in our schools in the Cambridge and Peterborough area. As a Relief Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of food production tasks, ensuring the kitchen and restaurant areas are clean and tidy, serving food to our students, and completing food safety training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support food production teams in preparing meals for students
  • Ensure kitchen and restaurant areas are clean and tidy at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
  • Complete food safety training and adhere to health and safety guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve school goals

Requirements:

  • Ability to work term time only, 20 hours per week
  • Own transport required for mobile-based role
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Food safety training and certification
