We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our dynamic wealth management team. As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with our advisors and relationship managers to construct and develop personalized wealth planning strategies for our clients.
Your expertise will shape financial strategies and empower clients to achieve their long-term goals. You will be responsible for:
- Working with advisers, relationship managers, and independently to develop wealth planning strategies for clients
- Ensuring strategies are documented within our governance and compliance framework
- Creating and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conducting research and monitoring of solutions within our governance framework
- Identifying the impact of changes in legislation and assessing the impact on our clients, implementing appropriate changes to our Wealth Planning Governance policy and formulating solutions for clients
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A deep understanding of the fundamental aspects of wealth planning, including technical and practical knowledge of financial planning and complex investments, custody services, and corporate solutions
- Experience of in-house investment management proposition
- Qualified to Diploma level 4 (or close to) with a desire to progress to level 6
- Other qualifications such as STEP or IMC would be a bonus
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- The ability to look beyond the facts to identify key or underlying issues in complex situations
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience), 28 days holiday annually (plus bank holidays), pension (5% employer contribution), discretionary bonus, death in service, private medical, and free parking.
