Theatre Operations Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Ophthalmology Theatre Manager to join our team at New Medical Systems Ltd. As a key member of our theatre operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of surgical services.
The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide competent scrub provision and support surgeons throughout the daily theatre list
- Anticipate and resolve potential problems, maintaining high standards in patient safety, clinical compliance, and hygiene levels
- Perform administrative tasks to support the Theatre Manager, including incident reporting and investigation
- Maintain training and competence among theatre staff, developing and implementing internal training programs
Main Responsibilities:
- Support theatre staff with training and competence
- Develop and implement internal training and mentorship programmes
- Administer tasks, such as incident reporting
Requirements:
- Experience in theatre operations or a related field
- Strong understanding of patient safety and clinical compliance regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
