Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the North East of England. As a Mobile Crane Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites to conduct maintenance and repairs on a range of cranes and lifting equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an electrical or mechanical bias looking for development and progression in a growing business. Our client provides full training on their range of products, ensuring that you have the necessary skills to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Travel to customer sites to conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on cranes and associated equipment.
  2. Perform equipment examinations to ensure compliance with LEEA and LOLER standards.
  3. Diagnostics and repair of faulty equipment, replacing parts as needed.
  4. Complete relevant paperwork and service documents.
  5. Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements at customer sites and company procedures.
Requirements:
  1. Candidates should have an electrical or mechanical engineering bias.
  2. Able to wire 3-phase motors and use electrical test equipment.
  3. Able to work at heights safely.
  4. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Full UK driving license.
  7. Basic hand tools and own transport are required.
