Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Concierge Supervisor to lead our team at Fairmont St Andrews, one of Scotland's most iconic Five-Star luxury hotels and resorts in the Home of Golf.

We are seeking a passionate individual who can ensure all guest's needs are effectively dealt with, guests belongings are secured, and hospitality is of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a permanent presence in the hotel lobby, ensuring all guests and visitors are welcomed and creating an excellent first impression.
  2. Gain a thorough knowledge of the local area, including tourist attractions, business locations, and local events to assist leisure and business travellers during their stay.
  3. Coordinate the duties of the hall porters, including luggage delivery, collection, storage, Valet parking service, providing a friendly and efficient communication centre.
  4. Train and develop staff.
  5. Be aware of group and VIP arrivals.
  6. Be aware of short-term business trends.
  7. Organise the booking of tours, golf, restaurants, and local attractions to enhance the guest's experience.
  8. Provide a travel information centre by booking and confirming airline tickets, making car arrangements, ordering taxis, and advising on transport routes to facilitate guest's travel needs.
  9. Coordinate and oversee the parking of guests' cars as determined by the hotel's own parking and arrangements.
  10. Perform management duties when the Concierge Manager is unavailable.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
