About the Role

This permanent General Maintenance position is based in Staines, working Monday to Friday 6am - 5pm, plus occasional weekends and an on-call rota basis.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Maintenance and operations: Ensure the plant is maintained and operable, available for work at all times.
  2. Management information: Assist in collating and contributing to management information required for contractual and reporting obligations.
  3. Team contribution: Be part of a developing maintenance team, contributing to business success.
  4. Preventative maintenance: Implement and manage a planned preventative maintenance programme & maintenance schedules (PPM).
  5. Project planning: Plan maintenance/shut downs/outage works, ensuring timely completion.
  6. Fault rectification: Identify and rectify faults promptly.
  7. Supplier liaison: Manage installation of new machinery & refurbishment of existing plant, liaising with suppliers as necessary.
  8. Breakdown response: React quickly to breakdowns on site, minimising downtime.
  9. Contractor management: Liaise with & manage external contractors where required.
  10. Reporting and analysis: Prepare detailed schedules of work, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
  11. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety legislation.
  12. Internal liaison: Liaise with internal management to maintain best practice.
  13. Site inspections: Perform daily & weekly site inspections, ensuring actions are closed out.

Estimated Salary Range: £40,500 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
