">About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our UK Infrastructure business, working within our specialist Cost Assurance team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs, driving supply chain improvement, and enhancing efficiency across major programmes and projects.

  • Contribute to the development of our service line by participating in bid proposals and business generation initiatives.
  • Take the lead in refining internal training and product management related to the service line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to provide expert insights on their ways of working, leveraging industry intelligence to identify best practices.
  • Analyze and comprehend complex construction contracts, including NEC3/4 and ICE Bespoke models.
  • Apply data analytics techniques and tools, such as PowerBi/Tableau, to test and validate data, uncovering trends and patterns.
  • Foster strong, professional relationships with clients and contractors built on trust and open communication.
  • Engage with the supply chain to promote assurance and collaboration at the project and programme levels.

Requirements:

  • Experience in assurance or audit, preferably in a construction, commercial, or accountancy setting.
  • Contract management expertise, particularly in NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred.
  • Data analysis skills, including the ability to review and draw insights from large datasets in various formats, with PowerBi/Tableau experience advantageous.
  • Report writing proficiency, able to communicate complex ideas succinctly in written formats.
  • Professional scepticism, capable of challenging constructively to safeguard service completion, maintaining independence and integrity while ensuring consistent quality.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is between £60,000 and £80,000, based on experience and qualifications.
