Job Title: Land Acquisition Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Surveyor to join our team at Essential Employment. As a key member of our property team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our ambitious programme of development, including the regeneration of our town centres and a substantial programme of residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Property & Investment Manager in delivering, managing, and supervising complex projects, including the negotiation and review of land and property assets and interests.
  • Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to build and shape a professional property team.
  • Provide professional property advice to the council on landlord and tenant, lease management, asset reviews, and acquisition and disposal opportunities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing asset rationalisation and review, identifying opportunities for asset optimisation and delivering outputs for agreed strategies.

Requirements:

  • Professional surveyor with experience in land acquisition and property management.
  • Strong understanding of property law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
