As a vital member of our operations team, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation as a reliable provider of aviation repair and maintenance services. Collaborate with your colleagues to establish effective processes and practices that enhance the efficiency of our products and services.

This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities within the organization, primarily focusing on the repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines. A fully qualified technician will be capable of executing tasks related to the disassembly, assembly, inspection, balancing, airflow, and testing of gas turbine engines, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and tidy working environment.
  • Perform all tasks in compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry guidelines.
  • Generate Non-conformance reports as required.
  • Acquire knowledge of product-related Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other technical documents (Training Provided).
  • Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of components as specified in maintenance manuals or engineering instructions.
  • Complete all documentation associated with the tasks performed.
  • Disassemble engines following the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Conduct visual examinations and detailed inspections of engine components.
  • Perform Borescope inspections on engines.
  • Balance rotating parts as necessary.
  • Assemble main engines, modules, and sub-assemblies.
  • Conduct flow tests on individual components and assemblies.
  • Test engines and components to ensure functionality.
  • Prepare engines for shipment.
  • Adhere to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Required Competencies:

Functional Competencies:

  • Relevant training or experience in a technical field.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools.
  • Skilled in using and maintaining precision measuring and torque tools.
  • Familiarity with quality procedures and documentation, including process paperwork and engineering instructions.
  • Working knowledge of engine publications and maintenance manuals (Training Provided).

Reporting Structure:

  • Directly accountable to the Operations Team Leader.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of a recognized engineering apprenticeship with relevant certification.
  • Knowledge of Human Factors.
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
