About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Lead Engineer to join our team at TalentSpa Recruitment. As a key member of our Mechanical business, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and delivering Mechanical project works while driving a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the Mechanical business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the leadership team to expand and grow revenue streams and UK opportunities across opex and capex project works.
  2. Identify opportunities for new disciplines, new revenue streams, or new market sectors that can support our growth strategy.
  3. Oversee engineering activities and delivery of all quoted works in conjunction with the wider business.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  1. A time-served trade apprenticeship or qualification within machining, fabricating, and/or fitting skills.
  2. Ability to produce method statements and risk assessments.
  3. Experience of working in the food and beverage industry.
  4. Prior experience of mentoring and training apprenticeship programmes.
