Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at EDF. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality of our projects and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in solving complex, challenging issues and help ensure Quality Delivery ways of working are effective in achieving right first-time delivery.
- Support the Quality Leads in managing daily Quality Assurance activities, including creating, reviewing, updating and reporting on Quality governance, manufacturing/construction documents.
- Occasionally travel to project locations within the UK to achieve close collaboration with our wider project team members and other stakeholders.
- Develop processes and procedures, audit plans, and implement new methodologies using problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Experience of working in the Manufacturing/Construction/Engineering industry and experience of working within an ISO 9001 operating environment.
- Experience of working within a project environment.
- Minimum educated to HNC/HND qualification level in a science/engineering based subject, or equivalent qualification.
- IT literate with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook and SharePoint.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and use of reporting tools.
- Experience of capturing and driving continuous improvement methods and tools.
