Job Opportunity: Telecommunications Civils Engineer

Nano Fibre UK is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Civils Engineer to join our team in the Chatham area. As a fast-growing company, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers, and we need enthusiastic and self-driven individuals to help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and locate blockages in the underground system on the BT network, utilizing your experience and proven track record in Civils environments.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out and all processes are followed regarding permits, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Reinstate and make good groundworks, utilizing heavy machinery, jackhammers, Stihl saws, and wacker plates, and possessing the necessary accreditations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, working effectively with teams and individuals to resolve issues and meet customer service targets.
  • Prioritize tasks, utilize logical skills, and find innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Travel to different locations within the UK, with accommodation provided when necessary.
  • Work irregular hours and overtime to achieve customer service targets, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to success.
  • Be medically fit and able to perform a physically demanding job in various weather conditions.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet Service Level Agreement Key Performance Indicators set by our partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with relevant accreditations and qualifications.
  • NRSWA 01 – 08, LA – CAT and Genny, SA004 – Abrasive Wheels, SAOO2 – PIA Underground Safety, and S7 – PIA Sub-Duct and Cable Installation accreditations.
