Industrial Refrigeration Engineer Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join a reputable refrigeration contractor in the North London area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on industrial refrigeration systems, documenting observations and findings.
  2. Conduct inspections and installations of spare parts, adhering to established procedures.
  3. Travel to job sites as required, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  4. Investigate and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems, providing detailed written reports.
  5. Execute installation tasks, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  6. Test and commission equipment, verifying compliance with safety standards.
  7. Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  8. Provide market feedback to support business growth.
  9. Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at job sites.
  10. Foster strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for service sales.
  11. Contribute to business growth, aligning with specified targets.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Relevant mechanical or electrical engineering background.
  2. Previous experience in servicing and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
  3. City & Guilds 2079 qualification is essential.
  4. Preferred City & Guilds 2078 (Ammonia) qualification.
  5. Strong understanding of industrial and commercial heating and refrigeration systems.
  6. High technical expertise in various types of machinery.

Compensation and Benefits:

  1. An attractive remuneration package is offered, including:
  2. Basic salary - £50-55K.
  3. 40 hour workweek.
  4. Travel time paid - door to door.
  5. Call out 1 in 5.
  6. Call out payment £150 per week.
  7. 25 days holiday.
  8. Pension.
  9. Kitted out van.
  10. Training opportunities.
