Community Mental Health Nurse Role

This role involves fostering therapeutic relationships, working collaboratively with professionals, and managing symptoms for patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and manage symptoms for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Build therapeutic relationships and offer crisis intervention.
  • Liaise with doctors, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Interact with patients' families, offering advice and information.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, care plans, and risk assessments.
  • Lead a staff team during patient conveyance or therapeutic observational service.
  • Ensure proper handover of patient details and report incidents promptly.
  • Assist in policy compliance and attend necessary training and meetings.
