About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 2 students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.

This involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse needs, implementing effective teaching strategies, assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver lesson plans for Year 2 students.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to engage students.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress.
  • Maintain a secure and inclusive classroom setting.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents/guardians.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students.
  • Deep understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to differentiate instruction effectively.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.

We offer a competitive salary, £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
