Transportation Infrastructure Project Manager

Are you looking for a new challenge in the field of transportation infrastructure project management? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as a Transportation Infrastructure Project Manager.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced project manager with expertise in pavement design, road drainage, and the use of Civils 3D software. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing design and project management services to support strategic programmes and activities within our Capitals team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects from concept design through to construction, with a strong working knowledge of relevant national and international highway-related standards, contracts, and regulations.
Duties- Technical design to relevant UK standards (DMRB, Manual for streets) as well as producing high standard professional written technical reports.
- Liaising and managing surveyors, consultants, contractors, and other collaborators.
- Record and track costs and benefits of projects and create learning logs for future projects; manage risks and issues in line with Corporate Risk management policy.
- Pre-empt problems and resolve quickly to protect projects; work collaboratively with all parties and make decisions to ensure projects and tasks are on time and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
- Experience in efficiently using Civils 3D software to produce Highway plans.

- Experience of managing and delivering projects from concept design through to construction.
- Pavement design experience and road drainage design experience.
