Flexible Teaching Role for an Experienced ECT

We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Early Career Teacher (ECT) to take on a challenging yet rewarding role at a reputable primary school in Cheshire East. About the School
The school is a high-achieving one-form entry primary school catering for children between the ages of two and eleven in a diverse community. The school prides itself on its high aspirations for every single child and its creative and inspirational curriculum. This welcoming school aims to unlock each child's potential through the use of supportive and collaborative learning approaches.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between £120 and £150 per day, depending on experience. You will be required for the rest of the academic year with the possibility of an extension depending on your success in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum standards and support the creative curriculum delivered by the school
- Understand age-related expectations for children within KS1 and scaffold and stretch accordingly to maximise educational outcomes for pupils as individuals
- Keep up-to-date records of data and analyse where and what to reteach to bridge gaps in learning and maintain high levels of attainment
- Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Work effectively as a team player with the TA, key stage, and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practice
Essential Requirements:
- QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
- Excellent references to support previous teaching experience
