A boutique analytics consultancy, Freshminds, is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Consultant to accelerate the data journey of a large organisation. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Azure and Fabric.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business users to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for development.
  • Source data samples for exploratory analysis and leverage your expertise in data analysis, Azure-based platforms, and data warehousing methodologies such as Kimball.
  • Conduct analysis to generate summary level insights, data quality, and clean data.
  • Apply Kimball data warehousing methodology to inform design and development of dimensional models.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Knowledge of Kimball data warehousing methodology (star schema, modelling, ETL).
  • Proficient with SQL for analysis.
  • Experience in agile projects (low level CMMI) working with sprints.
  • Top-level understanding of Microsoft Azure & Fabric.
  • Knowledge of BI tools.
  • Desirable experience in the technology consultancy world.

What We Offer:

  • Daily rate: £180 – 200 PAYE dependent on experience.
  • Remote work with occasional in-person meetings in London.
