Yorkshire Water is committed to delivering exceptional service for its customers while protecting the environment. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's electrical and mechanical assets across Energy & Recycling sites.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent opportunity, working rotational work patterns to cover 24/7 working. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining and repairing 3 phase rotating machinery and associated control systems. You will be required to visit sites across the Yorkshire Region, therefore a full valid driving licence (with no more than six points) is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair 3 phase rotating machinery and associated control systems.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks within agreed timescales, quality, and cost parameters.
  • Manage and prioritise your own workload effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with operational customers, colleagues, suppliers, and contract partners.
  • Adhere to the Health and Safety policy and standards actively identifying hazards, providing mitigation, and reporting onto the company hazard database.

Requirements:

  • A recognised Electrical Craft/Technician Apprenticeship.
  • A City & Guilds/ ONC/ BTEC/ NVQ/ HNC/ HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Eng Tech.
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge in safe isolation to the current IET regulations, fault finding on control circuits up to the PLC, IT literate, MS office, ability to produce maintenance reports, experience of fault finding with industrial motors and starters, experience fault finding with industrial 3 phase systems, experience working with rotating equipment, experience of fault finding on LV control circuits.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 per annum.

Location:

The successful candidate will be required to visit sites across the Yorkshire Region.
