**About the Role**

We are partnering with a growing forwarder in the Essex area to find an experienced Export Manager / Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Incoterms and a proven track record of liaising with overseas agents and shipping lines.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare detailed quotations and negotiate rates with shipping lines and agents
* Manage bookings, invoicing, and prepare essential documents such as BL, EUR1, COO, CIPL, etc.
* Coordinate customs clearance, including experience with CDS, CNS, Destin8, and raising entries for both imports and exports
* Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and handle all aspects of their shipments
* Engage with hauliers to negotiate competitive rates and report on job counts, profits, and job targets

**Requirements**

* Extensive knowledge of Incoterms
* Proven experience in export management and customs clearance
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
