About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our technology team at William Hill PLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet the requirements of our business.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Site Reliability teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
  • Code Quality: Ensure that all code is of high quality, maintainable, and follows best practices.
  • Technical Debt: Identify and manage technical debt effectively to ensure the long-term sustainability of our software solutions.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Broad knowledge of web software development, including best engineering practices (SOLID).
  • Experience: Proven experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
