Job Description: County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. This role provides an opportunity to work with patients who have physical disabilities, providing assessments and interventions to enable them to achieve their goals.About the Position:
The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and prior experience in occupational therapy settings. They will be responsible for managing a caseload of adult patients, completing assessments and developing plans to enable them to achieve their goals. They will also participate in regular supervisions, annual appraisals, and complete their Preceptorship Programme alongside specialist Occupational Therapists on site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional and cognitive abilities
* Develop and implement occupation-based interventions to promote independence and well-being
* Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
* Maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to relevant legislation, policies, and standards
