We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to join our team in the Cardiothoracic Radiology Service at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the highest clinical standards in imaging to support the management of cardiothoracic patients.
- Share with colleagues the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Cardiothoracic Radiology Service and the running of relevant MDTs.
- Teach and train junior staff, Medical Students, and Radiographers.
- Actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning clinical governance and audit.
- Ensure active participation in continuing medical education (CME).

Person Specification- Entry on GMC Specialist Register; eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of training (CCT) in Radiology at time of interview.
- Success in Intercollegiate Specialty Examination or equivalent.
- FRCR or equivalent.
- Qualification in another specialty (e.g. MRCP).
- Higher Degree (e.g. MSc, MD, PhD).
- Expertise in CT guided and pericardial thoracic interventions.
- Nuclear cardiology and lung oncology reporting including MIBI and Lung oncology PET.
