Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Black Fox Solutions in Northern Ireland. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in delivering engineering activities and ensuring the continuous improvement of manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities
• Guiding and managing engineering teams to establish technical direction across the organisation
• Implementing best practice procedures and leading instruction to engineering team leads and operatives
• Ensuring projects, ECCs, and NPDs are communicated to production in a timely manner
• Developing strategic engineering initiatives with the senior management team to achieve company objectives
• Collaborating with Production and Operations to develop a total preventative maintenance strategy
• Driving continuous improvement techniques to enhance product performance, compliance, efficiency, and potential portfolio of product application
• Reducing costs through design

Requirements
A minimum of five years' experience as an Engineering Manager in an engineering manufacturing environment, including:
• Strong knowledge of special processes (e.g. welding, painting) including WPS
• Experience using value-added quality principles and facilitating improvement throughout the quality assurance process
• Working knowledge of QC tools
• Ability to demonstrate commercial astuteness with a focus on managing COQ and reducing COPQ
• Strong understanding of ISO standards
• Experience driving the NC process
• Understanding of Kaizen and lean manufacturing tools and techniques is an advantage
