We are seeking a qualified Religious Education teacher to join our school community in Calne, Wiltshire. As a dedicated RE teacher, you will inspire young minds and foster a love for learning in a close-knit, rural setting.

This is a full-time role where you will deliver engaging Religious Education lessons, promoting critical thinking and encouraging students to explore different religious perspectives and ethical views.

The successful candidate will have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent and a strong background or interest in Religious Education. They should possess excellent classroom management and communication skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £40,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and engage students through stimulating and inclusive lessons that encourage exploration of various religious beliefs and cultural perspectives.
  • Foster critical thinking and empathy by discussing contemporary and historical religious issues with students.
  • Contribute to the school community by collaborating with colleagues and participating in events and initiatives.
  • Promote academic excellence by assessing, monitoring, and supporting students' progress.
