Highly Skilled Test Automation Engineer for Quality Assurance

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Close Brothers Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive test automation framework that meets the needs of our organization.
- Work closely with our engineering team to build a culture of quality and ensure high standards are met throughout the development process.
- Be an advocate for quality, implementing software quality best practices across the team and broader organization.
- Meticulously document testing processes, procedures, and test cases to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Raise potential technical issues early on, collaborating with the engineering team to address them before they become major concerns.
- Consider and implement performance testing to confirm system performance, resilience, and capacity requirements.
- Review project progress, providing honest status reports to the team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous QA Automation experience within the Financial Services or FinTech industry.
- A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing test automation with proficiency in writing code-based solutions.
- Knowledge of existing QA/testing tools, working in React /.NET.
- Ability to track key quality metrics and produce regular reports.
- A degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills:
- Previous QA Automation experience within the FinTech industry.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Agile Certified Practitioner).
- Knowledge of financial markets, especially within the Equity and Fixed income asset classes.
- Experience of API testing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
