Morning Facility Manager for a Primary School

We are seeking an experienced Morning Facility Manager to join our team at Hilltop First School, located in Windsor.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work under their own initiative, juggle priorities, and be flexible as part of a dynamic team. This is a part-time morning role that requires physical fitness, maintenance skills including basic plumbing and carpentry, general DIY work, gardening, and painting tasks.

As Morning Facility Manager, you will oversee the security of the site, act as a key holder, and manage Health and Safety. You will work alongside our existing afternoon caretaker, receiving training for this responsibility. The successful candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to ensuring the school premises are well-maintained and secure.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance duties: basic plumbing, carpentry, DIY, gardening, and painting
  • Overseeing site security, acting as a key holder, and managing Health and Safety
  • Working with the existing afternoon caretaker to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar facility management or maintenance role
  • Physical fitness and ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt to changing circumstances
