Data Center Networking Specialist

An estimated salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum.

About the Role

As a Data Center Networking Specialist, you will be responsible for selling and designing DC & Edge networking solutions around Dell Switches for various accounts. You will work closely with other teams to drive network technology solutions in the EMEA region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most dynamic pre-sales teams in Dell Technologies and help drive network technology solutions in the EMEA region.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and design DC & Edge networking solutions around Dell Switches for different accounts such as Enterprise, Corporate, Medium Business, and others.
  • Collaborate with Network Sales Specialists in driving strategy to acquire net new opportunities.
  • Ability to read through large RFPs and identify key networking technical compliance asks, match that with our products, and suggest/build the right networking solution.
  • Engagement on networking attach opportunities with Storage and Server System Engineers around all server and storage opportunities.
  • Deliver networking pre-sales presentations, demos, and PoCs to customers and partners as needed. Evangelize new DC Network transformation story around SONiC.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have expertise and technology understanding for Data Center Networking, GEN AI Networking, Routing, SDWAN, and Security solutions. You should also have experience in designing and architecting solutions for key industry trends – Micro-Segmentation, Network Automation, Multi-Site Datacenters, Network Visibility, Multi-Tenant / Network Virtualization, and L4-7 Service Insertion.

Around 5-10 years of networking experience as a network engineer involved in designing/troubleshooting an IP Network is required. Technical certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIA, and JNCIE are highly desirable.
