Technical Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team at First Achieve Ltd.

As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering of orders and bringing designs to life through CAD models and manufacturing drawings.

You will work closely with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure every project is a success, from concept to completion.

  • Create and update 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks, turning concepts into reality.
  • Select and specify the right equipment, ensuring technical precision and quality.
  • Manage ERP data, including Parts and Bill of Materials, for seamless project execution.
  • Ensure full compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures to maintain a safe, high-quality environment.

What You'll Bring:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. An HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
  2. 3+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanical engineering role.
  3. Advanced skills in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) to produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  5. Bonus points for knowledge of rotating equipment.
