Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Resolute Recruitment. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various stores across the region, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to stores in a timely and efficient manner
  • Unload cages from the trailer using an electric pump truck
  • Reverse in tight spaces and navigate through congested areas
  • Communicate effectively with customers and transport office
  • Meet the requirements of a temp to perm position

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1/Category C+E driving license
  • Valid in-date CPC & Digi cards
  • 6 months Class 1 experience required for insurance purposes
  • Store delivery experience is essential for this role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and as an individual
  • No more than 6 points on your license for insurance purposes
