Project Management Director

VANRATH is assisting a large Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Project Manager for an initial 3-month period with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in managing onsite and coordinating Major Adaptations delivery, including leading project management within agreed timeframes, quality, and budget targets.
- Brief consultants and contractors, negotiate appointments, and ensure Major Adaptations are delivered on time and within budget.
- Carry out feasibilities and option appraisals, maintaining systems to monitor project costs.
- Assess risks and progress projects swiftly and systematically to overcome risks.
- Provide regular progress reports on project performance to the Senior Project Manager.
- Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Building/Construction/Technical Discipline plus 1 year's relevant experience, or a relevant BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma or equivalent academic level plus 3 years' relevant experience in Building/Construction/Technical Discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for designated budgets and ensuring proper financial controls are in place, with staff complying accordingly with planned delivery contracts.
- Producing, recording, and monitoring performance reports to ensure Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
- Ensure projects are properly managed and delivered in accordance with the Contract, agreed targets, standards, and procedures.
