GP Practice Manager and Quality Lead

Finegreen is working with an established NHS Primary Care Service Provider to find an experienced Practice Manager who has also worked on Quality and Governance.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a Master's level or equivalent level of relevant quality management experience and extensive knowledge of quality management reporting systems. They will also have evidenced knowledge of the EMIS system, Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), and have worked with GP practices previously in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Director of Quality and Governance to enhance the existing quality management system to ensure it continues to monitor and improve all clinical services to provide excellent patient care throughout the organisation.
- Work with the Director of Quality and Governance to ensure the Board are aware of the quality of clinical services.
- Work with Registered Managers (mainly GP Practices) to ensure compliance with all CQC standards and legislative requirements.
- Work with all clinical teams to introduce annual quality improvement plans to improve and enhance patient care.
- Lead on preparedness for regulatory and statutory duties, such as CQC inspections.
- Manage the quality management software ensuring it is kept up to date and relevant.
- Contribute to risk management processes to ensure appropriate risks are highlighted and added to the risk register where appropriate.
- Master's level or equivalent level of relevant quality management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of quality management reporting systems.
- Evidenced knowledge of the EMIS system, Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), and have worked with GP practices previously in a similar role.
- Extensive working understanding of the NHS Primary Care agenda.
