As a store assistant manager, or more specifically in this case, Retail Operations Assistant, in one of our UK stores, you will be part of our dynamic store operations team, assisting with ensuring all aspects of store operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

About the Job

This is a salaried role with a estimated income of £32,500 - £50,000 p/a, additionally including a range of benefits such as discretionary bonus pay and career advancement opportunities in retail. Working within a team led by a Store Manager, you will support them with managing the day-to-day running of the store and contribute to driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing losses.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • To lead a team of retail assistants and provide guidance, support and coaching
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and visual merchandising
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual with a passion for retail operations and customer service. You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a retail leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
