About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Bristol. As a SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils, teachers, and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to pupils with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Supporting pupils in their social, emotional, and academic development, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and any areas of concern.
