Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geotechnical / Site Investigation Engineer to join our team in Norwich, Norfolk.

This role will involve conducting site investigations, managing projects, and liaising with clients and field crews. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and 2-3 years of experience in geotechnical site investigation techniques, including logging soils and rock to BS 5930+A2 and understanding Eurocode 7.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site investigations and collect geological data
  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Liaise with clients and field crews to ensure effective communication and project success
  • Prepare reports and present findings to clients

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong understanding of geotechnical site investigation principles and practices.

Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a geotechnical or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in geotechnical site investigation techniques
  • Strong understanding of UK site investigation techniques and practices
  • Ability to log soils and rock to BS 5930+A2
  • Understanding of Eurocode 7
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including a pension scheme, health insurance, and annual leave.
