Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts & Audit Senior Associate to join our dynamic team at Rekroot. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional audit and accounts services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, and companies, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Tax Compliance: Provide tax compliance services, including VAT returns, tax computations, and self-assessment tax returns, ensuring clients are in compliance with legislative regulations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their financial needs are met.
  • Working Papers and Schedules: Prepare and review working papers, lead schedules, and statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and development, working closely with the management team to implement new initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of Audit Experience: Proven experience in audit and accounts services, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Professional Qualifications: AAT Level 4 and part ACCA, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Iris Software, or similar accounting software.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
