About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Retina Specialist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. This fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in Medical Retina Ophthalmology.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver direct clinical care, including emergency duties, operating sessions, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and public health duties.
  2. Support professional activities, such as multi-disciplinary meetings, administration related to patient care, and other tasks as required.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Specialist training in Medical Retina Ophthalmology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong clinical skills, including diagnostic and treatment expertise.
About the Location

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar positions in the UK and may be subject to change.
