About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health team in Kent and Medway. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering individual assessments, interventions, and group interventions to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of individual assessments, interventions, and group interventions within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Work with other disciplines and agencies, including VCSE, to provide comprehensive support to individuals.
  • Conduct initial assessments, generic and OT-specific assessments, and risk assessments as required.
  • Travel across the locality to deliver interventions and assessments in community settings, patients' homes, and at the mental health base in Tunbridge Wells.

Person Specification

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in community mental health, including MOHO and group interventions.
  • Ability to travel across the locality and work in community settings.
