Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join their team in a temporary capacity. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods, and assisting in warehouse/production operations when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials within a warehouse or production environment
  • Safely stack and unstack goods onto shelves and pallets, ensuring accurate inventory levels
  • Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport, and unload deliveries safely
  • Conduct regular checks on forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required
