We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical team on the Children's Ward, Furness General Hospital, and will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The ward is a busy mixed specialty unit providing care for a wide range of conditions, and the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clinical standards and ensuring the ward provides a safe environment for children, parents, and staff.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the clinical team on the Children's Ward, Furness General Hospital
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Maintain clinical standards and ensure the ward provides a safe environment
- Deputise for Senior Nurses when required
- Registered Children's Nurse
- Post-basic qualification relevant to children's nursing
- Teaching and assessing qualification
- 1st degree or willingness to undertake same
- Recent experience at senior staff nurse level within children's nursing
- Evidence of clinical competence in a wide range of paediatric nursing skills
- Understanding of the setting and monitoring of standards
- Evidence of teaching and developing staff
- Recent leadership development or willingness to undertake course
- Paediatric Life Support Skills
- IT skills including word processing, email, and internet
- Advanced Paediatric Life support skills

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year per annum pro rata.
