Job Description

Job Title: Property Advisor - Void Management Specialist

Location: Remote (Hybrid working available)

Hourly Rate: £20.52 per hour PAYE

Contract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours

ASAP Start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Void Surveyors and Allocations Officers to prepare void properties for letting and lead on tenant viewings in the lettings process.
  • Ensure that property and tenancy records are kept up to date and regularly monitored.
  • Identify residents' needs and liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and key stakeholders involved in void management.
  • Meet and surpass targets identified as key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the Council meets its statutory requirements with specific regard to building and Health and Safety regulations.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of key aspects of performance required from the Voids Team.
  • Ability to devise and monitor rotas and work schedules for a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including maintaining full up-to-date records, monitoring and rectifying contract compliance, and ensuring allocations are kept fully informed of progress of works.
  • Ability to understand, manipulate, and report on statistical data.
  • Excellent communication skills, face-to-face, on the telephone, and in writing.
  • Vehicle and clean driving license.
  • Excellent ICT skills, including the effective use of mobile technology and associated work systems and processes.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Natfed/SORs or similar.
