French Teacher Opportunity at Academics

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced French Teacher to join our team at Academics. As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students and contributing to the development of the MFL department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French to students at Key Stage 3 and 4, following the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their language skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of the MFL department, including curriculum planning and resource development.

Requirements:

  • QTS/ECT status in the UK (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience of teaching French to students aged 11-16.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
