Job Overview
Hays Travel is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our successful teams in our branches. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving business growth through various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Identify and meet customers' needs by offering personalized travel solutions.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote offers, generate customer engagement, and drive sales leads.
- Participate in promotional events and activities to increase brand exposure and drive sales.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets by providing excellent customer service and promoting travel products.
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the branch, including administrative tasks and process adherence.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a related role.
- A proven sales record and excellent communication skills.
- Good accuracy and numerical skills, as well as enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Competent IT skills and a good working knowledge of tour operator systems.
- A recognized travel qualification is desirable.
