Astute's Renewables team is partnered with a leading utility-scale solar developer and operator. We are seeking a Regional Manager to join their growing operations and maintenance team covering North Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, and Derbyshire. This strategically important role comes with a competitive salary, private health insurance, company pension scheme, hybrid working options, and a discretionary yearly performance bonus.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the daily operations of technical staff, including conducting performance appraisals, handling disciplinary procedures, and overseeing staffing needs.

* Ensure optimal performance of solar PV plants, monitor plant performance, and maintain site appearance across the assigned region.

* Support the field teams with scheduled and corrective maintenance works, including HV maintenance, and provide training, coaching, and guidance to technicians.

* Take a lead in maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, working closely with the HSE Manager and Senior Technical Operations Manager to ensure compliance and

* Proven experience in solar operations and maintenance

* Strong leadership and management skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

* Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and standards
