Senior Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of projects and workforce covering Severn Trent sites in the midlands and South Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise projects and workforce to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Work on capital projects within the water industry, focusing on upgrade and resilience of wastewater treatment sites, delivering Design and Build projects up to £20m in value.
  • Accountable for time, cost, quality, and all safety aspects of projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including planners, production personnel, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven management experience, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
  • HNC or higher in Civil Engineering and hold SMSTS and CSCS.
  • Relevant Civil Engineering experience in non-infrastructure and experience of M&E works.
