Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, company accounts, and corporation tax returns
* Assist in the management of a portfolio of clients to deliver a high-quality service
* Provide VAT advice and compliance services
* Maintain a high technical and professional standard through ongoing training and access to CPD programs
* Coach, train, and develop junior staff to improve and further their knowledge
* Develop skills in key areas such as Xero and other cloud-based systems
* Undertake wider practice activities as required
* Communicate with the team on any issues or findings
* Maintain a professional working relationship with both clients and colleagues
Requirements:
* 23 years post-AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified
* Experience in accounts preparation in an accountancy practice
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage own workload and prioritize to meet deadlines
* Problem solver with investigative nature
* IT literate and able to use MS Excel and Word
