English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a child with English as an Additional Language (EAL) in a dynamic school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EAL and EHCPs, with relevant qualifications and experience in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to help the child build English language proficiency, both academically and socially.
  • Work collaboratively with the child's teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the child's individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in education or support for English language learners.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working with children who have EAL and EHCPs.
  • Experience in an education setting.
