Key Stage 2 Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team at a Primary School in Rawtenstall.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Key Stage 2 students and contribute to the school's academic success.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Work effectively with Teaching Assistants to support student learning.
- Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
- Immerse yourself in the school community, promoting its ethos and building relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Ensure a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and maintain a safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Class Teacher with experience in Primary Schools, specifically in KS2.
- Strong behaviour management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent understanding of the KS2 curriculum and ability to plan engaging lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Ability to assess student progress and use data to inform instruction.
- DBS on the update service and commitment to safeguarding.
