Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

TM Green Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team for a landmark construction project in Felixstowe.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on a high-profile construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular site inspections and audits, providing guidance and training to staff and contractors, and maintaining accurate health and safety records and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and contractors on health and safety practices
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records and reports
  • Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities as required
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3/4/5 in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
  • Experience working with main contractors is highly desirable
